King Von was born into a family of musicians, and he started rapping as a teenager. However, it wasn’t until he signed to fellow rapper Lil Durk’s label, Only The Family, in 2018 that he gained recognition in the rap industry. He released his debut album, “Grandson, Vol. 1,” in 2019, which was well-received by fans and critics alike.

Family was important to King Von, and he often referenced his upbringing and relationships in his music. He had several siblings, including his sister Kayla, who is also a rapper. Unfortunately, King Von’s life was cut short on November 6, 2020, when he was fatally shot outside a nightclub in Atlanta, Georgia.
